Susan Cantrell, CEO of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Pharmacy Quality Alliance, starting in 2018. The alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of patients through medication use. Cantrell will be one of eight board members. PQA also has an executive committee composed of five members. Cantrell has led AMCP since 2016. She previously was senior vice president and managing director of the Americas at the Drug Information Association.
